Looking at spurs

Great GK
Solid enough back line. Walker is decent, alerweirld is the main man, vertongen is made look good by him. Rose was pilloried by spurs fans but is ok
Now CM. wanyama and deir? solid yes but very very functions
Up front kane. lethal but slow.

that makes the 3 across the second line of attackers vital for them. alli bring the power running to it. eriksen the free taking and little bit of class.... BUT... its not great.

If I were spurs i'd be looking for that one really special guy cos to me they just look a bit turgid now. Just solid and unadventurous and dependent on the one guy getting the goals
 
Spurs need another forward. They can't rely on Kane all season again with added CL games. Guys knackered already and that was only after a 40 game season.

Yeah deffo seem to be looking for one but not sure who it will be.

They actually have to pay for their ground upgrade so they can't spend on players exclusively.

Problem is they are so reliant on him and he did so well that he's going to be starting 35 league games a season meaning who ever they get in won't get a decent chance and Spurs aren't a big enough team to have star players on the bench like city can afford to do.

They eh only ever play 1 up top so it's going to be tricky to get in a forward that is happy to be on bench most of the season but when given a small chance as sub or cup game make a real impact.

well... thats certainly a good point. Cheslea didn't get a second forward in and ended up with remy and a broken falcao last year and it seriously hurt them.

You do have to have the ability to play both forwards if you get one in for sure or at least get one who might play no 10 behind kane at times or say right side as well.

Not easy...
 
I presume the notes from Pearce that Kovacic is not a target and we've no intent of getting rid of Ings have been covered here?

also sahko will find out sometime in next 3 weeks what is situation is. talk about dragging feet.


Also Lawrence Vigouroux to sign for swindon for around £400,000.... no loss there....

3 weeks. So they're on holiday until the Euros final and will then chuck the decision together in half an hour the day after

Rogers wants andre wisdom (after spending 2 years trying to get rid of him here) for celtic and is such a fan that he wants joe gomez too.
