So Hart's not a good keeper then mate?

If you want a flapper we can sell you mingolet for half.

Why the F would you pay 40mil for a keeper when honest to god you could get a better one for 4/5 mil in timo horn... then put the money to actual good use... thats 40mil out of your reputed (you said ti not me too) 100mil budget.

Actually .you know what... PLEASE spend 40mil of your budget on hart.. that'll make you world beaters <ok>

The Echo talking as if the Karius deal is done...

Incoming new Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has been named the second-best Bundesliga goalkeeper – by his fellow professionals.
Karius, who is set to seal a £4.7m move to Anfield this week, was placed behind only Manuel Neuer in an end-of-season survey.
Twice a year, German football magazine Kicker asks stars of the German top-flight for their opinions on the season.
For this end-of-season poll, 235 Bundesliga players responded, with 13.6% voting Karius as the best ‘keeper in the league.
He was second to Bayern Munich stopper Neuer, who tallied 23.8% of the vote.

It's almost certainly utter bollocks mate, but a weird 'out of nowhere' link.

I said on the thread on our board, that they might be trying to line up our 'Robinho' style signing, a catalyst to show we mean business - if so, I could see how signing the England keeper from City, would work in that regard.

One things for sure, I doubt we'll be seeing Mr Head and Shoulders in an Everton shirt next season

Would you not rather gotze? :bandit:

Not 40m and 200k good no. And you wouldn't have the cash to afford him... And he wouldn't go from CL to relegation fight.

How do you know?

Not that I give this story any credence, but that's a daft assumption.

p.s. 11th is mid table, same as 8th <ok>

Good video of Zielinski for anyone interested

You must log in or register to see media

Can't judge a player's quality from YouTube but can get an idea of their strengths and style.

From what I've seen and read he's a technical player, a good dribbler who wants to go forward with the ball.

Will probably need to add end product and meet the physical side of the PL to succeed here.

Would likely see the end of Joe Allen.

YouTube ROCKS!!
First I've seen of the lad, by the very brief video, he looks like a Henry (chap from Dortmund) Lite... with a bit of Modric (Lite) mixed in.. so has potential..
Would say that "I'm sick of signing potential.." but given our luck in the past with the established players and recently with Gotze, it does appear the "potential" route will be the way to go for a while.
Good thing is we have Klopp and his staff that can spot and develop a player..
Heck they turned Lovern into a half decent defender in less than 6 months!

I hope we bring in another midfielder in addition to Grujic and Zielinksi.

Hopefully the links to Mahmoud Dahoud are strong.

Is he a leader? Does he have the minerals to get in a do the dirty work..
What we need is a Kante type player to play alongside Can, do the dirty work, still good on the ball and able to help cover his defence..

someone was watchin
Yeah.. but if you round up to the nearest 10 then we...
Err, bollocks, that doesn't work..

Never mind ;)

you're not letting him away with that muck are you?

if his team was 8th and ours 11th he'd be boasting to the ends of the earth and on about how great martinez is <whistle>

If we're lucky. <laugh>

Great signing imo, young talented lad who could be in our goal for many years to come. He'll have Mingo out within a couple of months, maybe even oust him during pre-season.
What brought you out of the Dungeon of Despair?
