So many people said Sterling is the new Wright Phillips and Ibe will be better. Right now Ibe is the new Lennon and Sterling is progressing well.
I don't think the guy fits the HG europa rules as a club player. he would be an association player. we are actually only allowed 4 of them before thye have to take a foreign players place.
Us training up 4 good club trained players given the "lauded " academy is a serious indictment of what we have been doing.

Dunno about that. sterling looks like SWP all over and ibe is nowhere near lennon. He's just not getting it.

That makes no sense.... It was 1-1 so if you're talking about during the game, as many from each side bottled it.
If if you're talking pens, then 4 players took a pen for us, 1 scored so you could claim the other 3 bottled it... Or and in really giving you benefit of the doubt could claim the 3 that missed and the remaining 6 after the initial 5 that didn't put their hand up to take one but still only gives you 9 LFC players.
Overall, I class that as a fail.

I'm happy with this. It seems like the obvious thing to do. Markovic has serious skills but never get a proper run in his best position by Rodgers.
Ignoring the first month where Marko struggled to settle he looked solid on the 2 or 3 chances he got in his actually best position. Scored a couple of good goals and did that near miss scissor kick volley.
