I rate Payet, I think he's a brilliant player. However, £38m is a lot of money, especially with him being 28 already.

We could make a fortune if they bought our crap <laugh> We need to buy a squad afterwards too like.

Exactly - it's a stupid offer which they should take.

By my calculations, we should get £80m for Mario and Benteke.

£75m for Mario and £5m for Benteke.

We don't need to get seriously lucky. We just need to get rid of them. Getting lucky would obviously help but it's not a necessity.

Someone suggested Klopp will find it very hard to decide where he should start with rebuilding Liverpool's team.

I disagree, it seems obvious that he must start with the teams defensive spine. Do you agree?

If we build a solid defense and fluke/achieve a good season for injuies with our current attack we can have some serious progress.

I think he needs to get himself 3 or 4 he can really rely on. For me to improve performance its not just defensive but it does encompass defense

I would want.

a) goalkeeper. "enough is enough"
b) A real CB, someone to say week in week out that he's got the bottle and leadership.
c) a CM... not a DM.. a proper honest to god CM that will be able to put a foot on the ball when required and keep it, will be able to keep play moving one touch when we need it and a guy to really set the tone.
d) a striker.

Klopp can build in around those but he desperately needs guys he can rely on delivering his game plan and not either panicking at the first adversity or just plain not turning up and playing from the start

Its a spine for sure.

I don't really believe in our current attack so much, i feel they look at each other too much for someone else to do something, run off on their own or just plain play ****e. look at benteke, he should be 20 times better but his head is down. Look at sturrdige, you might get 2 game sout of him beofre he feels a cracked toenail, ings is made to be a god by some but the lad misses the target way way too much. Lallana is far to light weight. Ibe can't get his head up and has to driblle up to a full back before thinking what to do with the ball.
