Always tricky to judge, but he's played CL and scored 3 in 8 I think it was? Not bad for a team that isn't exactly a heavyweight in the CL either.

I'd rather buy a Brazillian that had spent 4 yeas in Ukraine, than one that had come straight from Brazil. At least he's played in Europe, adapted slightly and played in the highest competition, the CL.

He should be in his prime now and obviously has huge motivation to get into the Brazil squad which should mean he puts everything in to achieve that, and only way that'll happen is playing well for your club.
 
Having Lucas,Firm and Couts at the club may help us here,and if Kloppo thinks this guy is the real deal for £25m or £30m then lets get him.

Would be fantastic business if we could get him, we could even use him as an emergency striker. Can't see a player of his quality wanting to sign full time for us, but we may be able to persuade him to sign on loan for the rest of the season. Fingers crossed, but I suspect it is just paper talk and we will end up with someone like Messi or Bale

Bale is unlikely, I hear Real are being investigated for breaking transfer rules

In the 2011 version I think he was cheap, young and fairly good. One of those ones you could buy cheap and sell for more.

Actually I haven't bought a version of FM since 2012, so couldn't tell what he's rated like now.

If Klopp is keen on him, then we have to go all out to get him. Only a week left, so if he is keen to come also, he will have to put more pressure on his club.

Well .. if we've a final price in our heads we might as well offer close to it now as let it go longer. Say we think 30 will get him. 24.5 seems a really low starting point. Go in with 28 now he's said he wants a move.

If they want 38 (50mil euro) we won't pay it... Can't even though I'd love carroll name off the record book.
