Caulker is a last resort, give it a couple of weeks and we'll have most of our CB's back fit. Save the money this window (if there is any) for a decent striker, that's priority right now. Still, probably could of got a better loan option.. Surely?

Subotic? No, Caulker. Always the same LFC

<laugh> Shocking really isn't it....I can't remember ever looking at Caulker and thinking "wouldn't mind seeing him at Anfield" <doh> Let's hope he's a hell of a lot better than I currently think he is.

Imagine the reaction if Brenda had signed him!! <whistle> Loan or not there would have been great vengeance and furious anger....

The communication at Anfield is getting worse by the week....."Herr Ayre......I asked you for a decent centre half, one who iz a corker......"

I was thinking that..........

I'm still waiting for some genius to come up with a theory saying it is all Brendan's fault.

He obviously mentioned him I the committee before he left and they haven't decided to change their targets yet.

Yeah I understand that, but surely you could have done better than him? Or just stepped one of your actual CB targets (I'm sure Klopp has some) Or even an academy player? Just seems a bit bizzare to me.

Either way I'm glad we're rid of him :) <ok>

Short term no risk solution. As I said, he won't play (unless he does really well) once Skrtel, Lovren and Sakho are 100% back

WTF are we loaning some **** CB (already on-loan for being ****) from QPR???

Pure Madness.

I have a feeling this window will be a shambles.

if by shambles you mean we wont be throwing £20 mill at this CB or £30 mill at that crooked striker, then yes it will be a shambles, think its loans or nothing personally.

on the bright side, we will spend the money we save now more wisely in the summer for a fecking change and not waste it like we usually do <diva>

Next season every team will strengthen due to all the money coming into the PL. 4th place is up fro grabs this season - we'd be mad not to buy 2 quality players to give us a chance.

Otherwise next season we'll be pushing for 6th again.

Happy with Caulker as a 6 mth loan as back up. Better than panic buying a dud for £20m. Sakho is supposed to be fit for tomorrows game, so expect him and Toure to start with Caulker or Illori on the bench.

Worse news today was Origi out for another month. Just Benteke now, unless we give Jerome"I've got a new agent who says I am worth 100k a week" Sinclair a run or even Ojo. Either of the latter are far more mobile than Benteke.

fair enough, but how many players who are ****e do we need to get rid of first? and has klopp had enough time to establish this fact and form his own opinion of them?

we already know they want as cheap as wages as possible(owners) or we would still have a world class keeper, do we need to sell first to balance the books, and can we get rid.

we all want some decent players and 4th is still achieve just, just how much will it cost to achieve that? i only see loans sadly.

I think Firmino will lead the line.

Klopp says Caulker is an ideal signing because we want to be playing a high pressing game which forces the opponent into playing long balls. To counter the long balls we need players who can then head and win those balls in a high defensive line.

Personally I think this suits Ilori very well but he needs to sort his fitness out.
