Yeh and at Arsenal he'll never be fit. I remember one game against Barca where I thought he was superb.
He's a complete pr@t as a human being though.

He makes my blood boil at times, such a mouthy little prick - like a yappy little mutt that you just wanna kick in the face!!

I went to the Arsenal board to see if there was any [HASHTAG]#meltdown[/HASHTAG] but they haven't even heard the news yet

[HASHTAG]#disappointed[/HASHTAG]

No chance. Last season I got banned for just posting a <laugh> after they lost a preseason game. Not going out so early this season.

Yep they're ferrel over there. I hear they have Cini chained up over there and doing unspeakable things to him the poor batard.

Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore says he is not bothered whether rival managers shake hands, insisting that visible animosity is preferable to a staged display of friendship. (Guardian)
Liverpool are in talks with Italian side Fiorentina over the transfer of 24-year-old striker Fabio Borini. (Talksport)
Manchester United have made another bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane a couple of days ahead of the start of the new Premier League season. (Daily Express)
Nigeria have made a bid to get rising Liverpool star Jordon Ibe, 19, to pledge his international future to them, rather than England, who he has represented at youth level. (Daily Mirror)

M'Vila has joined Sunderland on loan.

Will be interesting to see how he gets on - he was one of the worlds best youngsters at one point but his career derailed down to attitude issues and a poorly advised move to Russia.

I thought we should have taken a punt on him before he went to Inter but he struggled there - hopefully he can get back to where he should be.

Does anyone think there is any truth in the Digne or Illarramendi rumours? Or just Metro BS

We should be after them - we need cover at left back and we need a good holding mid.

If we did get these two, then I think it would be a very good summer or business.

Yeah I agree, can't see us getting both of them this window though. DM prob more important to sort out now.

I'd prefer a DM over anything else (bar a true quality striker but that's not happening either) purely because we've only got Lucas who seems out of favour nowadays. At LB, we've got Moreno, Enrique and Flanno who can all play to a decent standard (Flanno a much higher standard than most, obviously!).

However, two of the LBs are constantly injured leaving the inconsistent and unreliable Moreno whereas we've got five or six players that can play centrally so I think injuries etc dictate that LB is more important.

Could really do with Flanno getting fit, Moreno needs to improve this season of course, but I think he will. Does anyone know much about Digne? Would he come in and be a starter if we signed him?

We've got plenty of cover at LB but we need quality there!

True - someone like Digne would be good. Personally I think we should be persisting with Moreno and coaching him. He's young, raw but talented.

Really don't like the thought of Gomez playing left back - I don't even like him playing right back. Going by all accounts, he can become a quality CB. I fear if we keep using him aggressively as a full back, then he'll break down physically like Kelly, or become out of favour like Wisdom.

Or help him grow like it did with Carragher.

Didnt he quit England bcos he kept being played RB?

No, he quit England because he was continually over looked when Rio or Terry were unavailable.

He also broke into the Liverpool team playing FB. Mainly LB with Babbel RB and Henchoz & Hyypia Central
