The pig farmer is an excellent price and more proof guardiola is ruining bayern.

I think however it's not done yet as the big lads at bayern were to talk to him and I don't think that's happened.

He also turns 31 before the start of the season............not a signing for the future

No but he is a top player. As long as he can adapt to prem which is more competitive than German league he should do very well for van Gaal's reign which after all is what van Gaal cares about.

United signing Schweinstieger then. Decent player a few years ago, interesttong to see if can still do it especially in a new league and how he fits in

PEDRO CLAUSE DROPS TO €30

Barcelona forward Pedro’s buyout clause dropped from €150m to just €30m when he signed a contract extension earlier this summer, reports Mundo Deportivo.

The winger, whose initial deal was set to expire next summer, surprisingly penned a new contract last month which ties him to the Camp Nou club until 2019.

The Spain international dropped down the pecking order at the Camp Nou last season following the arrival of Uruguay international Luis Suarez and a number of clubs, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG, are willing to offer him a route out of Catalonia.

And his suitors may be boosted by the fact that his release clause fee now stands at just €30m. Mundo Deportivo also reports that whether or not Pedro stays at Camp Nou this summer will depend on the player himself, although no clubs are in talks with Barcelona at the moment.

€30, blimey what a bargain! Sign him up! <whistle>

Good on Delph if he stays, has just signed a contract after all hasn't he? Much better for his career to stay at villa for another year or 2
Looks like players, particularly English ones, know they are going to play second fiddle at Citeh. Rodwell and Sinclair have really shown its not worth going to Citeh unless you are a huge star with a huge price tag cause you just aren't going to get the game time.

Options are starting to run low for Citeh really, Wilshere and now Delph a no go. Yes they could just go buy aload of average English players on the cheap hell they could buy aload of ****e English players for bugger all, but that means they're squad will be seriously limited and wont have the cover they need for the first XI.

Makes our position in the Sterling saga stronger.

Same as last year then but with an improved first 11 <ok>
