Indeed he did so lets look at the facts, he's in his prime, is the only DM we have, loves the club, great at breaking up the play and is a good passer of the ball, he's aggressive and decent in a tackle.

There are of course downsides to his game but nobody is perfect, injury is a worry. I'd have him as captain though.

Is he in his prime thoigh? We all know he's been far from his best since the injury. I like him and I'd keep him but I can see why Rodgers might let him go if we get an offer.. Especially as he wont be first team regular and he might want to go play first team football before it's too late

i will bet mr lucas cries if he has to go.. he loves us. :emoticon-0106-cryin

you ruthless ****ers.

you should be running the club not supporting it.

If you were running our club I'd stop watching football!!!

No you wouldn't! You'd be engrossed by our beautiful defence which liberates our fluid attack. The display of young talent, and not overrated British dross which we have all grown accustomed to.

I wouldn't have much choice about stopping watching football, I'd fall to sleep within ten minutes every time I saw us play <whistle>

Au contraire mon frere.

We'd be scoring goals and conceding very few = more wins :)

Also, Fabian Schar has joined Hoffenheim for 5m EUR. Brilliant young defender, perfect partner for Sakho. Another great piece of business that we've missed out on.

Shaqiri and Schar = 16m EUR.
Lallana and Lovren = 45m GBP

Moneyball can work - we;re just so poor at it.

Shame its not 2012-13 when we seem to be gathering the players who's name started with a 'S' rather than a 'L' <whistle>

He's a very good player is my point and not someone we should be looking to get rid of. We need experience and I'd only want to sell Lucas for good money if an experienced replacement was lined up.

Happy with Milner. Solid player, 150k a week seems a bit much. But i guess thats the world we are in.
thats it exactly.

we've got to get used to massive wages as they are coming across the board.

the 150k per week is a result of him being free.

I think Milner wants to play with his heart....and regular football as well.
Lazy footballer will just stay with city and collect his wages.
