Hear what you're saying. But I think he's a talented (not spectacular) player who can fill in on both flanks. With the likes of Wisdom, Moreno and Manquillo, we'll have full back positions covered for a number of years. More importantly, having been brought up at Barca, coming to Liverpool will be a piece of p*ss for him. He won't be intimidated being here (unlike others that have joined recently ... )

My original comment was actually correcting jimmy who labelled Benteke average, as he's far from average, I was actually saying how the good the lad is and then you appeared with your boring, repetitive trolling, making ridiculous posts about Lukaku who wasn't even being discussed.
I was harsh when I called him average.
But I seriously doubt he can do it at a bigger club. I wouldn't want him at LFC because we have been burnt far too many times by players at smaller clubs who have good periods in the PL.
I think there are better and cheaper players out there.

I don't see why he couldn't do it at a bigger club, however I understand your reticence to spend big on another PL player, given your record in that regard. The difference with Benteke is that he's done it in this league for 3 seasons, so he's not merely a 'flavour of the month' or a 1 season wonder. He's better than that. Personally I hope you dont sign him, as I think he'd be a great piece of business.
