Are YOU seriously discussing Klopp being Liverpool manager when we already have a manager in charge? Do you know anything about Liverpool Football Club and it's heritage? Go and give your gob a scrub with a bog brush before studying the word 'loyalty'!
Thing is, if we appointed Klopp, you stab him in the back in a heartbeat should Simeone become available!

I could answer your question very simply - my loyalty is to Liverpool. Not to Brendan Rodgers.
But as ever, I would like to expand
So you're telling me that we should never look to upgrade personnel? Does that mean we stick with RIckie Lambert until he retires?
We're quick to sell players and look for bigger and better things, but the same doesn't apply to the manager?
Rodgers has had 3 years at the club:
- Have we improved? Slightly but not as much as we should have done.
- Has Rodgers improved the defence? No.
- Has he instilled a philosophy/style? No. The high pressing, intense game was led by Suarez and since he left, that style has been incredibly infrequent.
- Has he shown evidence that he learns from mistakes? No.
I'm sorry that I don't share your love of mid-table mediocrity but I want the best at the club.

LIVERPOOL are preparing to offload Mario Balotelli to finance a move for Manchester United outcast Radamel Falcao.

According to Spanish sources, the Reds are willing to take a significant loss on their £16m signing to make room for the Colombian international.
Balotelli, much like Falcao, has failed to make an impact since his Premier League arrival and is prepared to resurrect his career elsewhere.
Sampdoria have declared their interest in the eccentric forward, but insist he must be willing to slash his wages to join.
President Massimo Ferrero said: "I would take him - he’d be the real Balotelli again here. He wouldn’t have too much pressure here in Genoa.
"He’s lost his hunger. He’s earning too much. If he was only on bread and water, he’d be a champion again."

Meanwhile Falcao has been tipped to leave Old Trafford in the summer, but is desperate to remain in England.
Falcao, 29, is known to be dissatisfied with warming the bench at Old Trafford, and has been reduced to tears by his current predicament, according to his mentor Silvano Espindola.
He told AS Colombia: "I am not going to tell you that he feels happy because he isn't.
"We speak many times and we cry together. It is not an easy situation because every player wants to play and every goalscorer wants to score goals."
Falcao's lacklustre performances and poultry four league goals have lowered his price-tag to a more

How many times has he finished 2nd?
How did we get on in the CL? In fact, how did we get on in the EL? We've been in Europe 3x under Rodgers and have been embarrassing in all 3.
And being 5th and in the FA Cup is not good enough - have our expectations really fallen that far?

Totally agree Dribs,BR has made his mistakes like every manager does.
But he has also shown he can take us on long unbeaten runs,even through the chaos of a season like this one.
We must allow BR more time
we lost 2 games. one against Man Utd who are now playing well and against Arsenal who I think are on top of the form table and suddenly we are in a deep crisis. if we had got beat by Newcastle and West Brom then we would be in trouble.

Perhaps you should try supporting Chelsea instead. The play the defensive boring football you crave. They chop and change personal all the time. In recent times, they've also won things more often than us too. Seems right up your street to me.

Last season, you would have had a case. But certainly not this season.
And enough with the chop and change business - we've had Rodgers for 3 years. I think that's ample time for a manager who has been inconsistent to say the least.
But like I said, if you're happy with not winning anything and being out of the CL, then be my guest. I rather win.
Why would we be at square one? This team needs a couple of quality additions and we're pretty much there.
And it's not a case of instant success - it's about showing progression. Have we really progressed that much in the past 3 years?
I accept that fans want to stick with Rodgers - which I respect. But what I cannot accept is that some fans (not on this board at least) believe Rodgers is as good as Klopp. He's not in his league.
I reiterate - we're quick to sign new players and upgrade the ones we have. Yet, we don't apply the same logic to the manager.
We've scored 47 goals this season. Chelsea have scored 64.

Who was claiming this season to be fantastic attacking football? I was talking about in general. You've made it perfectly clear in the past that you'd rather be board to tears and win 1-0 every week. Mourinho style 'success at the expense of actual entertainment'.
My opinions have not been "skewed" by last season. I still remain on the fence with Brod; he deserves credit for the achievements he's made but equally deserves criticism for the stubborness with certain team selections. The transfers are somewhat questionable too. However, that's not the point. He is our manager and doesn't deserve sacking, you just hate him and have done for some time. You weren't just discussing 'what if' in regards to Klopp, you was saying he should be the one appointed in the summer with total disregard for Brendan Rodgers being in post.
As I said above, you clearly have no knowledge of the history of Liverpool FC, that's simply something we do not do. We have always been loyal to our managers (with one obvious exception), the pictures in my signature show the entire management history of Liverpool FC's 122 year existence! That's an average of 6.1 years each!
You clearly don't watch Chelsea because they do play good football..
So you would put loyalty ahead of the needs of the club? There is no room for sentiment in football.
And again, you talk about Rodgers's achievements? What has he achieved? Oh yeah, finishing 2nd - he instill a great winning philosophy at the club, built on pressing and intensity. But wait a second, that all seemed to go this season - I wonder why that is?
Rodgers has received far too much credit IMO - there was only one driving force last season.
