Rodgers is quick to drop/sell players who stand up to him - using Reina and Agger as the examples. Not to mention dropping Sakho. He has some yes men in his defence i.e. Skrtel and Johnson who keep their place regardless of performances, and obviously Gerrard who is Mr Undroppable.

I agree, Gerrard should (mainly) be used as our weapon at 70 minutes to go and play number 10 if we need a goal, we are starting to see him told to play there during games but he will certainly have more of an impact if he's fresh from the bench

It's such a shame because I feel his influence and reputation is taking a battering now.

Mourinho moved Hazard to stay on Gerrard - completely tore Gerrard apart. As do most attackers to be fair, including Downing.

...at first I laughed. However, it then dawned on me that this rules us out too <grr>
 
reus is after money... he's looking for a huge pay day and we can't afford him. he is on his way to cheslea to add to the pile that includes salah and willian.

lets forget him. we will not get a player like that.
 
He can say it but the reality is his club have a deal and want him there. I am worried he's not giving then his all as they are struggling so how can we appraise this?
 
Good to have him in the team.

Bad that we now expect a 19 year old to lift the team.

And if he has a poor few games, will we criticise him like some have done for Markovic?

Although he's playing in the French league so will look better than he would in the Premier League, I genuinely think he would be a big improvement on Mario, Lambo and Borini. I also think Oriri and Studge would make a great partnership too; plenty of movement and energy plus both can score.


However, Liverpool and Lille have an agreement so I don't see him coming until the summer. I also wouldn't want to be pinning our hopes on a nineteen year old so in Origi's perspective, its not the best time to be coming.
