Transfer Rumours Transfer Rumours thread

Had a chance to have a good look at Diamande tonight against Norway. Not very impressed really, certainly not worth the kind of money being asked. Maybe he will develop into a great player and maybe he won’t but I think we can find better ways to spend the money

He is good, especially for 19. But, and I appreciate I may get flak for this, he doesn't appear to me as skilful as Rio, though obviously, he's a much, much bigger physical unit (and still growing!). But now PSG are involved, the ante's been upped to €150m - ffs, look at this:

A much more salient point is that RB bought him for €20m. Elliott Anderson was bought for £35m two seasons ago. Fernandes was bought for less than that (I think, but cba checking), so you see my point - does Hughes think his job is solely (or even primarily) to wait until a player passes the €100m mark before we get involved? Not just him, but all the so-called 'Big 6'? If so, most of us bar room bores could do that job - just give us the unlimited budget and we too can waste the phenomenal strides FSG has made (to their credit) in making us the most commercially profitable club in the UK, with a percentage of market share we couldn't have dreamed of ten years ago: yes, I could piss that up the ****ing wall too.

tbf the only signing we've made was for £40m (might have been euros but cba to check) and i think we need to stick mainly to going for the "up and coming" rather than "arrived" as the amounts are eye watering .
oh btw have we got any South American scouts

World cup silly fees ...always the same.

After last year... I can't be arsed being excited or disappointed in who we get/don't... Just want to see manager do something positive with players we have and get.

Sorry... Transfer thread... I'm a miserable but hopeful bastard.... Carry on lol
