Well signing came out of no where. How things should be done and how used to be, announced once all agreed not weeks of speculation.

Must admit never heard of him before but half decent stats in an awful team last year, is rapid and plays predominantly from the left but also played games from the right so that versatility will help. Dribbled the ball and carries it up field so should offer some speed and threat on the counter. Work to do on his pressing numbers but he also played for a team at bottom of table who probably sat in so hard to make proper judgement.

Cant imagine coming over to be day 1 starter but him and Rio will probably rotate for that LW spot.

Apparently, we're about to sign Munoz from Osasuna for £35m (release clause).

He was reportedly close to joining Newcastle before we swooped in.

At what point will transfer fees top out? It doesn't seem that long ago that 100mil player was pie in the sky stuff, reserved for the very best players in the world, established superstars.

Now it's being turned down for a 19 year old. Surely at some point a club must look at a transfer fee and think regardless of what we win, how successful we are, how much we sell him for, we are never getting that money back.

Who knows.

They are so far out of bounds already that most fans dont even blink at the numbers even if they are more than a third of their entire club revenue.

These clubs are looking at appreciating assets, they can say no a few times and get more while the players wage is not going up.

The issue for clubs is players walking off at end of contract happily and they then cannot keep replacing them as you need the cash coming in to pay out again.

I don't think winning things comes imto the equations, just make sure they play and increase in value.

Welcome back <ok>

Heard this one before in May. Hope it's not true. He's quick. Very quick. And, er... that's it. Spurs are talking £75m+ for him (or agents are). Er, no. :emoticon-0112-wonde
