The complete lack of links to any LBs must mean we've decided that Tismi is to stay at the club. Worried about us not looking at RBs & CBs though

most reports say we are looking for RB’s.
Not sure about CB. Starting next year will be vvd and Jacquet - don’t spend 60m on a new cb to not make him first choice.

Then have Leoni and Gomez as back up. Awkward one as don’t want to spend big on another back up, which is why I thought senesi would make sense as a cheap back up option but could rotate with vvd. Wonder if we’ll try find an experienced player to provide cover.

Diomande rumoured to be £90m + £15m add ons. I've not seen him play. In the hyper inflated marketplace that we now have to deal in, is he worth the asking price?

by all accounts he was the best player for Ivory Coast the other day, makes defenders **** themselves absolutely rapid. Ivory Coasts tactics seem to be pass to him and let him do his thing, which shows how high he's rated if his country is trusting him with that much game responsibility at 19. Its probably the average price for someone like him nowadays.

There's two of them at RBL, lad called Nusa who's just as good as well (not as fast but tricky AF)

I see he's being talked up as Salah's replacement. Looks a real powerhouse rather than a nippy trickster (for want of a better phrase). Not sure what the timing of AFCON is now but would we want another gap when that's on?

it's not actually Red Bull as sponsors names as part of Team names isn't allowed in Bundeslegia so they came up with a name they could use with the initials RB and everyone knows exactly what the RB really stands for .
It's not like their home ground is called Red Bull Arena or anything ......

ah grounds are fine hence Bayern in Allianz
no one said it was consistent <laugh>
Yeh, I wasn't aiming that comment at you btw and what you'd said about sponsors not being allowed to be represented in the club name. It was more the inconsistency as you've pointed out.

Having no interest in foreign football, I was surprised to see that the club's only been in existence for 17 years. It's not like it's an old club originally known as Leipzig picking up a new sponsor who wanted to change the name, like we've seen new owners wanting to change a club's traditional colours. I see issues with the latter but not the former.

Silly rumour of the day is Wirtz to Chelsea, no doubt Chelsea would expect us to take a big hit on what we paid for him so can't see it happening

I'd be gutted to lose him, I think he's quality and we should be building around him. However, if Chelsea want to cough up £200m for him I wouldn't complain <whistle>
