Can i just point out that the idea of "gentlemens agreements" in football is pretty much a contradiction in terms
Can you see now how confusing what you've been saying is?I'm not suggesting that at all. I'm suggesting that despite agreeing terms and having everything in place for the transfer, because we don't have any agreements in place Geuhi probably won't be joining us, unless we go back in Jan (with money) and/or Geuhi himself has already decided he wants to join us and only us.
In terms of anyone thinking we has some sort of agreements in place, which was the original point I think, I said it was because people believed it was a foregone conclusion for a future move to us (as we had been the only ones interested at the time and would be in Summer 2026). That's what the word sentiment meant.
Not sure where you got any of the rest from, 'A Loan back'? where on earth did that come from?

Not really. Can you see now how confusing what you've been saying is?![]()
I haven't seen anyone suggesting this. In fact most on here have previously stated that they aren't that fussed whether Guehi signs. Not really.
I said there weren't any agreements about future transfers.
But people thought there were cause they wanted there to be. Which is wrong.
I even responded to you're question originally where you asked about a Gentleman's agreement.
No Official agreements.I haven't seen anyone suggesting this. In fact most on here have previously stated that they aren't that fussed whether Guehi signs.
I'm still not sure how you can say with certainty that there aren't any agreements already made. That's not me saying I think there are, I just don't know and wonder how you do know.
he looks like he should play for Real Ale MadridReal no longer interested in Konate. I wonder why?
It's a Real Shame, now we'll be stuck with him.Real no longer interested in Konate. I wonder why?
Maybe he's been drinking Real Madrihe looks like he should play for Real Ale Madrid
Linked to a January move for Atalanta midfielder Éderson.
Yeh, usual m.o. from agents. The transfers that actually happen usually come out of the blue. Still thought it was interesting at £28m.He’s been ‘linked’ to every big club for the past 2 seasons and no one’s made a move. Sounds like agent talk to try get some movement going
Same price as half an Isak,Semenyo apparently has a buyout clause of £65 which is not a bad deal on current levels of fees.
