I just see glasses talking about lacing up his boots for the weekend.

They can't have the akanji deal done then.

Guehi looks like either rapidly done today or deadline day Monday if at all.

We do have 4 cbs. We are not selling konate.

If palace want to have a nice send off year with geuhi while he hopefully.misses out on loads of medals that's their business. It's 5mil they are haggling on

Guehi only wants us, which limits Parish’s options. He may decide to keep his captain for another year before losing him for nothing but I doubt it, they just need to get his replacement signed up.

outstanding work by the club this window. Having so many top players wanting to come to us, and only us, is amazing. Best window for us ever if we get Guehi and Isak over the line.

He admitted himself after the community gift that they could not afford to just lose a player on a free so its up to parish

difficult though if they can’t replace him, especially after losing Eze. Hopefully they will.

They have a great coach who may not want to lose him without adequate cover….Parish will need to think of the big picture.
 
Simons on his way to Spurs which has reignited Elliott to RBL possibly. Talk that lfc won’t sanction move unless Isak comes or offer too good to refuse.

Talking 50m which I doubt German club will offer.

That sounds like manager is putting his foot down but whether the board go over his head so don’t lose him for free remains to be seen. Not sure he’ll be best pleased if they do, seems like we’re already frosty after lack of signings and then having to sell Eze

Glasner started well. Went absolutely woeful and then picked up last year.

A proper var decision and they lose the fa cup and he is not so hot but right now he could probably get the utd gig.

They've had a long time to find a replacement especially knowing that Guehi wants to leave.

Possibly this is what was going on when he wouldn't go with the manager and applaud the fans in their first Premier League game. I think we're looking at January for Guehi now, and that means City and others (possibly Real?) will be poking about with huge signing-on fees for him and his agent, so we may see his determination to come to us get tested.

As has been said, this seems to all be about a £5m difference in valuation between us and Palace - I'll not second-guess Hughes and Edwards after this window, but what we gain here on his transfer fee dropping in Jan, we may lose in a signing fee auction with other European giants. We'll see.

I'm not sure we'd go back in January knowing that he'd be on a free a few months later. I think this one is mostly homegrown driven which explains why we haven't been seriously connected to any other CB's.
