Howe hasn’t slagged Isak off once, and he’s never once said he’s made him the player he is…. The person that said that was carragher.

If you watch Howes interviews he’s said he’ll have him back in the first team group as soon as he’s ready but it’s not just down to him, Isak would have to do some grovelling to his team mates.

problem here is your club have gone agreeing contracts with players without permission from the owning clubs (NUFC and Palace) or agreeing fees.

second problem I’m guessing here is your going to be one of these touristy Liverpool fans that don’t actually go to games and get all your info from YouTube and twitter.

For the record, I don't like the way these things are done either, but tapping up is rife and all major clubs are at it.
I just think you're kidding yourselves if you think Liverpool are the sole cause of the problems with Isak, but I suppose you need someone to blame.
Also for the record, I don't care whether or not we get him - good player no doubt, but the whole circus around this is putting me off.
Oh, and he's over-priced.

Funny thing is, someone posted tweet about their new signing Thaiw and how the Newcastle staff had been in discussions with his representatives over the last 12 months… some didn’t quite see the irony that essentially saying they’ve been tapping him up for 12 months lol.

I wouldn’t say ironic. The lads clearly taking advice from his agent (who is under investigation from FIFA and already banned from Ajax, PSV and AIK). Until players start paying agents out their own pockets rather than clubs the agents are always going to agitate for moves.

Prices are crazy I’ll not deny that, but at the same time when you have someone who guarantees premier league goals and we’re saying £150m for someone we paid £70m for compared to the prices being bandied about for midfielders then I can understand why we’ve put that price tag on him.

Ironic in the sense that you accused mito of getting his info from social media, but repeated a lot of stuff gleaned from those sources yourself.
Agents are a blight on the game, imo. I think the inflationary spiral of fees and wages is obscene and unsustainable, and I don't like to see my club contribute to it, but obviously you have to if you want to compete at the highest level.
The bubble has to burst one day though.
Anyway, you have a player who wants to leave, so you have to grit your teeth and let him go, just as we did with Trent.
At least you'll get a King's ransom for him, we got loose change.

After watching yesterday’s game I am now concerned about our #6 position. Grav will come back, I know, but if either he or Maca are injured or suspended we look lost in the heart of the pitch. I think Mito called this early tbf.

We also need a CB and at least one more forward.

You or I might say such things but we cannot turn round and say one club is then worse than the other when both do the same things as all other clubs, not even most other clubs. All.

Isak has made himself look a 90mil player at this point ;)

But howe has made it a lot worse.

Both will have to climb down off their high horses on 2nd september
