Assistant manager being a bigger name than the manager - a bigger icon - take away focus from the players / managers - also has been a manager would he want to go back to being an assistant.

God, no. Great player, but the charisma of a dead fish.
I never wanted him on our coaching staff even before he demonstrated that he's not up for the job.
As a player he's a legend - I'd prefer to keep it that way.

Leverkusen agreed deal for Flekken from Brentford so will imagine the move for Kelleher will shortly be done as well to replace.

Really?.........name names <grr>.........seriously though,he's a tidy footballer,happy to sit on the bench and wait for cameo roles. I'm
always reassured if he's getting 20 minutes or so. You know he will be positionally on it and always use the ball sensibly.

I call bs

Wirtz and his parents (agents) seem to be very sensible in picking his next project hence reports saying thats why he picked us over bayern because we and slot impressed them more with our plans for florian.

I doubt madrid can offer the same assurances as us.

All really good options for Harvey who I'm a big fan of but it just think he would be better off playing elsewhere where he will be more appreciated and utilised. All the best to him if he does go and I'll follow his career if he does
