Can't redefine a word to suit your argument. Used means used.
He used Endo in a specific role for certain games. He used him more often than Chiesa, and Elliott, Quansah, Tsimikas, Gomez, Kelleher and even Bradley so saying he didn't use him is patently absurd.
He was useful enough when needed, and for that reason I said I was happy to keep him unless we have an improved alternative.
That's all I said, nothing more - and I can't for the life of me understand why you choose to take issue with that.

I think I read that Arteta wants Sesko but the DOF wants gyokeres so see how that goes.

Not too sure but I don’t see him dropping any of the current midfield 3 as grav and Mac do their own job and I think they love szobos work rate. Obviously his end product could be better so Wirtz may offer more there in that 10, but slot has preferred Diaz over Nunez and Jota who are more 9s so I see Wirtz doing what Diaz has done. Drop deeper.
Will be interesting to see if that is how line up, how Salah szobo and Frimpong will link up. Frimpong is much more up and down and energetic covering distance than Trent so should in theory free up szobo who won’t have as much ground to cover.
I think our recent issues have been thst everyone is dropping off.
Salah and gakpo are wide as the full backs are narrow and deep. Diaz drops as well so we play in front of tea.s.
Wirtz will turn better than Szoboszlai and will dribble and pass.
We would need to see someone go beyond wirtz to make this work.
No word about when Frimpong will be announced but some rumours say possibly tomorrow (not from the source I quoted over Virgil and Salah).
Wirtz still not done although, again, rumours were that his parents were at yesterday's game. Seeing several people saying if/when he's signed he will be employed mostly as a 10 witn Szoboszlai playing his favoured 8 role. Very exciting times.

I think what we saw against Brighton with Elliott at 10 and szoboszlai at macallister position would either be the source of the assumption or and additional backing to their itk info (depending on your opinions)
Frimpong will be a social media campaign so I'm sure you will find out the date soon enough.
They do kind of go on holidays though as preseason is massively busy for them too.

Don’t see that. Means dropping Mac who has been the player of the season behind Salah or Grav who has been instrumental in that 6 role with number of tackles and interceptions.

Yeah but I imagine with kerkez and Frimpong/bradley who like to get forward and stay wide it will allow Salah and gakpo to come inside more often.
Do still think we lack real pace up top for someone to run behind. You’re right if everyone drops off then opposition defence can push up and squeeze the space making it harder. Unless idea is that kerkez and Frimpong play really high and make those runs.
Trent to Real immediately - £5m. An RM source so don't know if it's reliable but hats off to Hughes if it's true.
Ekitike next on the list according to the same source that broke the Wirtz news.
If true that spells the end for Nunez or Jota or Chiesa or all 3
tbh if we get Wirtz, Ekitike and Cherki, then all 3 of the above can go imo.

Cherki doesn’t seem to pass the no dickhead rule though from the sounds of it. Bit of an attitude about him.
Saying that, sounds like Ekitike (or at least his agent) is a bit of a pain so whether we really are in for him or not.
Nunez and Chiesa definitely need to go. Nunez sadly as a striker hasn’t worked out , and Chiesa, as talented a player he has been in his career and has shown glimpses of with us, seems a strange acquisition when you look back.
my response on here at the time Chiesa was rumoured was "God no" and i was proved right .
Everyone in Europe is being linked to eKitKat. He's going to go for a large amount be interesting to see if we still have the money.
Nunez is almost certainly gone. Jota and Chiesa maybe... And Alonso wants to poach Diaz and Macca if you believe the rumours.
