Just don’t see Slot keeping him if we get offers. Lovely guy, hard worker, doesn’t kick up a fuss. But never going to be what Slot wants.

Yeah, but you can't just deem anyone who isn't a starter as expendable. We need squad players to come in and be reliable.
Bajcetic is still an unknown quantity, whereas you know what you're getting with Endo.
Can't just throw players away unless you have someone as good or better to replace them - otherwise you are, by definition, weakening the squad.
I got the impression Slot rated him more highly by the end of the season than he did at the start. If a decent offer came in then we may well sell but I don't think he's a priority sale.

he only really played cameo’s for the most part of the season and didn’t let us down, you’re right . However, I can’t see Slot keeping him if there is a squad place required; in fact, i suspect his would be one of the first to give.
I think that we all love his application. Got his head down when he was clearly told that he wouldn’t play a part. Football can be brutal at times.
And the rewards massive.
In the end the lad came to lfc for a reason. Did klopp tell him he would be first choice? I doubt it.
He's got a league cup and league medal which is massive for him and he got a massive pay day too.
A nice lad, a real pro and a fan favourite for that.
In reality he's on 50k a week so a millionaire form playing for us so he will be looking to see thet out and go at the end if it OR find an opportunity where he can get 2 or 3 more years at similar money.

When we don't have the ball depp how do we line up.

I see it as Wirtz in a false 9 tbh with Szobo staying as 10. Those 2 forming a front 4 when pressing. Both full backs pushing high and wide to keep the width with grav dropping deeper to be part of back 3
Had slot a similar type of player.mix at feynoord or did he have a proper 9 there?
Santiago Gimenez was more of a straight centre forward.
Wirtz seems to be to be a player who will dribble and assist rather than be the one finishing.
Last I read Arsenal had gone cold on him. Going for Sesko instead, which would make more sense seeing as they've scouted him for almost 3 years

He's still only giving him 5 to 15mins at most here and there.
Using means starting a guy in games thst matter.

20 league appearances. 260 minutes total.
What does that tell you. Longest time was very chelsea 69mins (and people keep telling me thst game "doesn't matter") or West ham with a 5-0 win for 33mins
If you take those couple put it becomes a massively different picture.
Again cl. 6 games 140mins. 90 of which are very psv when again I was told it "didn't matter"
Again less than 10 mins.
10mins is better than no mins but there you go.
