Was a lot of hype about him couple years ago but heard nothing since then really suggesting maybe dropped off a bit but can’t say watch any Portuguese football.
So we could buy him for €100m then sell him to Bayern for €150m?

I'd say he has been tapped up and will refuse any other moves.
I'd want him gone to Saudi for a massive undeserved fee and never hear of him again.
Loaning him means thry can't afford him and we are stuck not being able to buy as the fee will be needed.
If there's an obligation to buy then it's more of an accounting and cash flow issue, which I assume we could bridge. Just hope it's a decent fee.
For his sake I hope he's able to get a decent European move rather than Saudi.

We’ll see what comes of it. It could well be us using him as a smokescreen to drive another price down.
The good thing with this one is it will be over very quickly as he's said to have been given 10 days to decide, so we'll know before the transfer window even opens.

Will be really interesting where he plays. I’d guess as a false 9 type in a firmino type role coming deeper to get balls and feeding through but would normally say he’s best in szobo’s current role behind a front man.

Cost seems crazy, do wonder if it’ll be slightly cheaper because they’d rather sell to us than Bayern or if we’re just happy to pay what’s being asked for a what could be a generational talent. I’d hope would tie him down to a long deal as for £125m is a lot is only getting 5 years out of him. At his age, you’d hope to get 10 years unless move on in 5/6 for similar money.
I wish I’d taken more notice of him this season now, I have no idea if he’s that good tbh
