I would be almost shocked we would insert this into the celebrations period and not just announce on the 28th of may when trent is gone.

Last thing we want is people screaming frimpong at a celebration

But anyway. Once it's signed it's signed and we can welcome.him.on July 1 or whenever preseason starts.

Joyce reported yesterday that Frimpong's medical was underway so I know that it's at least partly done but not sure whether it's actually completed already. Number 30 shirt chosen hasn't been worn since Suso.

I do wonder if these positions were designated as the priority and we're using our annual summer budget on these, with the remaining transfers being more dependent on who leaves and how much we get for them.

Not sure why a medical would be done in parts. Hopefully, complete it today and get other targets signed early

Players can have their medical started at a clinic in their location and then travel to complete it. Maybe an equipment availability issue or just the club they are transferring to actually needing to see them.

I would assume.this plan is months old.

They've known full well trents decision, I think they will have had to wait on salah amd vvd.
I think thry know the score at lb for a year.

I think slot has made the striker situation plain as he has done for Elliott and cheisa.

We have not heard that famous phrase yet, (will formally join on July 1)

We could be spending in 24/25 up to July 1st and thereafter spending in 25/26 for psr etc.

In the end the main thing will be the fee structures as 7.5mil over 5 years won't break the bank for frimpong.
