Konate current contract expires at the end of next season . He is currently on £80000 a week and wants £200000 a week to sign the new contract. Something have to give, but I don't know. Liverpool can meet halfway.

Replace and sell.

He's not as good as he thinks he is.

The crowd like him but I think he thinks he is vvd in his priem and he is simply not.

Huijsen it is.

So Frimpong seems 90% done.

Reports now then Liverpool and Arsenal are front for Huijsen. Be interesting one that - feel like he prob needs another year playing 38 games for Bournemouth to be honest, but while his release clause is what it is, can see teams taking a risk and going for him.

Just not sure he joins as first choice for either of those clubs unless some dramatic movement with saliba and Konate.

Real will apparently buy one of those two cbs

With the word.club starting in the summer early deals.might be in the offing.

Well mito assured us that Frimpong's height isn't a problem so it's a yes from me. He seems a really nice lad as well which is usually a factor in our choice.

If we're going young, talented, flexible and want to be here - Frimpong, Kerkez and Hato could serve us well for years.

Thats a normal fee these days for a top class defender who is 25!!
Real Madrid are tripping balls if they think any club is going to release a title winning CB, who is under 30, for any less than £80m these days.
Typical RM tactics though. Player with a year left on his contract learns they're interested, demands either massive contract with us or decides he'll just run the current one down expecting them to come in for him on a free.
Watching a high-profile player like Trent do that just shifts the balance of power to Konaté

he is 5 foot 8, so thats 2 inches shorter than robertson. ithe main issue is getting cuaght at the back stick so if he knows how to jump he is an instant improvement on trent who is taller and robertson who is forever being caught on the gorund by players getting a climb on

Transfer gossip is starting to heat up. It looks like a busy window for all the big clubs. And Man Utd.

I fear that once City and Chelsea get spending, the prices will go crazy. Get in early if we can.

Agreed. We’ll do what we do and always find value where possible. Frimpong @ £30m for example (fingers crossed) is an absolute steal.

Where feasible yes, when bargain hunting it's not always possible.

With frimong and a release it seems possible.
With huijsen I doubt it's true. Feels like a very agent driven story
With kerkez, who knows.

Where there's a release it takes the other club out of it. Macallister and szoboszlai were possible early.

With gravenberch we returned right at the end and prised bayern grip open finally

No chance. Would be great in that 10 role albeit far less energy than Szobo in there. But numbers being talked about over £100m between city and Bayern so can’t see us going crazy with that when have more important areas to fill

Madrid made first contact with Bournemouth over huijsen. Don’t see us being seriously in for him as not sure we can give him first choice cb with Konate still around but looks a proper talent and might be one you take the gamble on if Konate not signing new deal

Let him go.

He wants to be Spanish and play for real despite having no track record.

Born in Netherlands.

In Spain as a kid

In Italy as a youth

Over to bournemouth.

Real pick and choose type.
