The leadership is a point, but it looks like he may be second choice and he might want to go somewhere where he'll be first choice. And there's something he wants to achieve somewhere (e.g. Scotland?), then at 31 he might not get too many more chances. That said, it sounds like he wants to stay.

Tsimikas is at least a bit younger, but he'll soon be 29 as well.

I highly doubt Robertson wants to leave. Where is he going to go that’s better? Thought he was talking about wanting to extend contract - he’ll def be a huge help
for someone like kerkez to learn from if he does join. Kerkez is only 21 so he’s going to have dips and we’ll need an experienced head to rotate when needed.

He's done well legging it about but he's not delivered enough goals and assists from 10. Thats not to say he's not delivered as he has 7 goals and 8 assists but you'd want a few more goals there.l as a 10.

I keep waiting for him to break out and be a huge star. Maybe it's harsh, I don't know.

Now dor robertson and tsimikas. Honestly both could go. Neither are up to it.

Robertson has a year left on contract I think. I'd let him see it down and just move on. Tsimikas isn't up to it at all and we need thst position worked on so again this is about buying time.

One lb this summer means I'd rather see Robertson stay and see his contract down and replace next summer.

We need a striker now.
Both full backs now
A striker now
A cm now.

We won't be able for more so it's like giving salah a new deal. It's a risk but it buys time. A good risk.

I do think it’s interesting that szobo said that because of the amount of work he has to do he feels it impacts him in the attacking areas as has less energy etc.

Feel last couple months he’s not quite been at it but then against spurs he was phenomenal and created so many chances so he def has it in him

It's not right to think like this but I see Cole Palmer and I know szoboszlai can explode like thst with goals but we don't see him as the guy joining the box for the cut backs.

We don't see the frees.

I’d add a CB as a 5th signing to that list if we can but can’t see us affording it all in one window.

Also have to remember szobo is still relatively new. First year in the league last year playing deeper and now moved up more advanced in new role.

I’d like to see him shoot more but we just seem to be seeing less of it. Def something I’d like from whole team, both szobo and mac can do it, Salah seems to never do it anymore and gakpo prob only one that does in and around box cutting in. It’s something which can force opponents to do something and create space as they have to come out to close down which can open up space behind.

with TAA gone, it does seem like szobo and Mac now have first choice on direct free kicks - two different techniques but both can be very good outside.
 
There is a blurry video online of Liverpool staff meeting someone at the tailors that LFC apparently use for suits.

People are speculating that it is Lutsharel Geertruida. I don't know anything about him or if he's any good... I can't for the life of me see how anyone can make out who it is from the video. Could be anyone.

But if we do sign him... I'm going to call him Gertrude. <ok>
