Jota can't stay fit at all.

Not rocket science here. I never asked for a big slow donkey.

Nunez has failed, failed on brains, failed on finishing, failed on instinct. All the work rate, strength and pace anyone would ever want but he simply doesn't know where the goal is and where the danger zone to be in is.

Jota has failed, he has failed on fitness, he knows where to be, he knows how to finish. He will battle all day. But he is always injured.

These players are the reason why a left winger got shunted into cf.

Their failure doesn't mean Diaz is actually right for cf.

Everyone's heard the names linked like isak. There's a reason why he is hot right now. Pace, knows where to run to get behind players, knows where to find space, can finish.


You'd swear from some of this that we have never bought jota or nunez lol

And did a decent enough job. I’m not sure what you wanted from Diaz. Shunted to play CF and provided 7 goals in 13 games. No one’s saying he’s the new R9 and we don’t need to buy but he did a job, what else are you expecting?

So now we have bought some 9s in the last 20 years then?

All I'm saying is he isn't the solution.

People as per get all heated up cos anyone dares say a lfc player isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread in every position he plays in.

Nobody has made that claim and no-one has gotten heated up over it.
People getting all heated up because someone disagrees with them. :)

It's a pile on as usual.

Diaz played centre forward against man utd, totally anonymous.

Diaz played centre forward v forest away
Totally anonymous.

If you go through the games his output actually dropped at cf.

Now obviously when you play spurs who were ****ing awful at it's 6-3 you do grab a couple goals and thats fine.

But he scored.most of his premier league goals and got more of his assists from lw.

He sorted against spurs in 6-3 and in a 5-1 and one v west ham.in a 5-0. Thsts it.

When we needed something in games like say everton 2-2, just control and hold it then the tram has a giant black hole up there against cbs that just dominated.

Now this is not to say that jota wasn't a black hole when he came back to fitness and took the role on while Diaz went out to lw again as gakpo was injured.

Jota was so far off the pace it was hurting us (imo).

I just want us to buy a proper cf. Amd the sad fact is everyone of you seem to as well!!!

In all seriousness, I think it's because you describe our players as "****" that you prompt a reaction from people.
It's an exaggeration and a bit disrespectful towards a team you ostensibly support.
Diaz is not a number 9, but he's done ok when pressed into a role that isn't natural to him. Also, we haven't played with a traditional 9 for a while now so claiming that we must have one as though it's an established fact will bring some disagreement from others.
I know it's your style, but it's always likely to ruffle a few feathers innit?

Again, your intentionally being controversial to get the responses. Calling our players "****" is going to get a reaction and you know it <laugh>


I purposely try to avoid responding to you because I think it's intentional but also, if I'm wrong, I don't want to cause you mental anguish either if you're being genuine
 
Has to be said Kerkez was very good again today. Barely gave Saka a touch and gets up from left back so well and delivered 2 wonderful crosses, 1 that evanilson should have headed in, and another 2nd half that was begging for someone to get jn front of defender to knock in.

Lots and lots of talk as if deal is pretty much done - if that’s true at around 40m then big thumbs up from me. Only 21 as well, very reminiscent of Robbo but already far better than he was when he first joined.

Gibbs-White to Citeh looks likely. Forest yet to agree a fee.

But we all know money is no object to 115, as they'll make something up to cover it

Decent player but not sure where he plays for them. I guess as an 8 in midfield but seems more competition with foden in that attacking mid position. Interesting if he makes the step up - but can’t see it being good value for money with Forest prob wanting 80m or so. Might be another Grealish.
 
Here is what i saw.yesterday.

1. Cf. One ran.about trying but then missed an absolute sitter. I think he couldn't head it further away from goal.if he was a defender. One was not bothered one jot. This is my absolute priority

2. Lb. Such a poor player. He let the first goal.in past him as he over ran to cover a ball in.. he never blocked a thing and struggled to cope. Buying a real quality left full also has to be a priority.

3. Cm. It's patently obvious.we have no reserve midfielders at all. Jones cannot play cm in a real game. He is an attacker. Elliott really disappointed again. He just does the same things then sees a sub coming and starts lashing stuff.

Again we are indeed.but the player.coming has to push macc and gravenberch.

4. Cb, quansah wasn't actually bad. He did alright but with gomez a goners we need another cb.

I presume they want pace. City seem to have lost something in recruitment. They will have a lot of bodies but it'll be a long way off their best time
