So 350k per year from us or 1.25 mil per week from Saudi?
Don't think we're going to give him 1.25m a week.
FFS, FSG are SOOOOO unreasonable. Just give him every penny we can spare; and then go and spend **** loads too, ya ****s...

My niece goes to every home game. The general feeling amongst the match going fans is - give Salah what he's asking for. Most of us on here don't go to the games (anymore). Knowing and speaking regularly to people who do go, very often gives a different perspective.

That's true. I just think, on balance, those who go to the game aren't as concerned about the money side of contracts (and transfers) as those who use social media seem to be. I've never met a fan who goes on about the ins and outs of the business side of things like I've seen a large majority of those online do.The truth is, neither the forum members, or the match attenders know how much the club can afford. All I can say is, I suspect if we give Salah a million a week to match the Saudis, we're almost certainly not getting any new players next summer either.

I've said several times I've no interest in the club's accounts and I take very little part in those discussions. I'm only interested in the broad strokes, and in principle I've always been against bowing to excessive demands - those being anything that blows our wage structure out of the water. That's true. There's a balance to be struck between trying to run the club's finances for it and pretending no such concerns exist.
Yeah - I really don't understand why people waste so much energy fretting over something they have very little data on and no influence over.Yes... and I just have to trust the club is making the right calls for the balance... because I get no real say in it anyway.
With who?Apparently Trent close to signing 4 year £300,000 a week contract.
Have you given up gist because it's nearly Lent?so fans don't post on social media![]()
Liverpool,I'd have thought it would have been obvious. With who?
I think it was a joke mate.Liverpool,I'd have thought it would have been obvious.
considering his age £80/90m seems excessive to me as he is just below top levelArsenal had 60m bid rejected for Watkins. Obviously testing the water but no chance Villa sell for anything like than 80/90m imo
