It's not a Klopp team. It's a Liverpool squad with a new coach with a similar philosophy. The manager/coach only as a say in transfer activities, they don't control it.
yes but it was a klopp squad as all the peopel now emplyed as FSG global whatevers all left in a huff as klopp had total say and got his way. the examples of players who simply were never given any time by klopp as they were an edwards buy like minamino led to edwards and ward both walking out and sitting o ntheir arses unitl lfc came back to them
Slot has converted a player or two to new roles, decided to focus one or two on specific roles and decided a few are no use to him so it will inevitably become a slot squad over time.
Gravenberch as a 6 klop wouldn't dream of it.
macallister slightly different role to klopp thinking
gakpo soley at lw is totally agasint klopp thinking.
szoboszlai central and a quasi 10/98 rather than on the right.
nunez seen soley as striker
gomez seen mostly as cb
elliott seen by himself as a 10.
endo just not seen as suited to the role
he's moved kids out on loans and is continuing to do so.
Its subtle nudges but more and more will have to change.
Only time will tell if it becomes a "liverpool", "richard huges" or "slot" squad.
