We are absolutely creaming it.

As 1st seeds we get more of the country pool as well and the prize money is basically maximum.

And all from zero net spend having sold carvalho and van den Berg off to fund buying chiesa and the keeper marmalade or marmalade or whatever.

You cannot argue with the strategy as long as it functions.

So if we announced new contracts they would be like signing new players (a classic fsg line)

Trent, vvd and salah to be replaced.

Lb to be bought

A midfielder to replace morton amd maybe endo too.

This all depends how you look at things.

Lfc have 3 players out of contract to replace or sign up.

Lfc have 2 lbs to get rid of or keep.

Lfc have 2 players slot doesn't rate as his type of 6.

Basically if we got the 3 to sign then realistically what do people really want to see happen here?

Some natural midfield evolution with morton going to have his career and someone coming in?

A left back leave and a new one arrive?

As unexpectedly delighted as I am with the team performance under Slot, this is Klopps team. We certainly need a new LB, Tsimikas is ok as backup. We will need a replacement for Trent if he goes. VVD is the biggest concern because he is the leader and his stability for the next couple of seasons would be great. If Mo goes, I would get a quality striker ( like Isak but cheaper) and manage with what we have on the wings. Who knows what will happen, the uncertainty of the contract situation cannot be a good thing so hopefully it will be resolved soon

It's not a Klopp team. It's a Liverpool squad with a new coach with a similar philosophy. The manager/coach only as a say in transfer activities, they don't control it.
