LB yes, but also RB if TAA goes. Some would say a CB. Salah will either leave, and if he doesn't, he needs a deputy that Slot trusts.

Chances are during January or Summer we will lose:
Robertson, TAA, Endo, Alison, Kelleher and Salah, Nunez Chiesa... (That's a wicked 5-aside team +2 subs ) Probably half the promising youth that we haven't sold yet too.

There's a lot who will be leaving, so we may see busier intake the next two windows too. We know one Keeper incoming, but if we lose both keepers we will probably get another.

I think the following.

A) gk has been sorted. Marmaduke is coming. I can't be arsed to see how to spell his name just yet. Alisson has no intent of moving until contract is up. Kelleher will be sold so jaros is no 3.

B) rb. Trent can do one or not. Bradley is the main option but Ramsay has not worked so yet a buy is needed here. I don't rate any other option. Stephenson was sent off on a toughening up season but we will see. Davidson is too young.

C) LB. Chambers is being worked up with Wigan but he is not an athlete. Beck is more of a runner but not really good enough. We will have to wait and see here.

D) Midfield absolutely yes endo and morton are wasting their time so you'd expect a buy here.

E) salah/vvd contracts. The club has made a massive error here imo. This is a firing level error for hughes and absolutely unforgivable. This is a 200million issue.

F) nunez. I agree, flip thr asset while it has a tiny bit of value left and move on. Slot doesn't seem pushed to give much of a chance to youth just yet but danns is decent. I said before when jones was 17 thst he was by far thr best youth at the club. I said last year something very special was coming from u18 level. Danns amd koumas are thst and we can either work with them or ignore them. Only time will tell.

Endo is a good but limited DM. Klopp likes a DM, Slot doesn't. Unfortunately, some players often drop away after a change of manager and it looks like Endo is going to suffer the brunt of that change.

Yeah... GravenB, has risen under Slot and Endo has wanted. Both great players but the manager has made the change for both.

£40m for Mamashdashvili as well wasn't it plus £13m and a£100kpw is hardly loose change

I am not sure when the fee for marmalade get paid. We need to see the years accounts to know. we won't really know for sure for a while as it was done in august.

he was only 25mil up front so for me thats alright.

cheisa should be judge on first viewing now. Lets just see how fit they've got him and how long he lasts.

I am hoping to see him play accrington stanley.

Going to be huge pressure on Mama Cass to perform when he arrives.

Imagine replacing the hugely popular and loved Allison and Kelleher. You're a massive signing that no one wanted... Have to prove on day one that you were worth throwing two of the best keepers away to sign.

I said Chiesa looked 10 kg overweight when we signed him. He certainly looks that much heavier than the player who was the star of the 2020 Euros three years ago. I hope they've whittled that weight off him because if they haven't, he'll just get consistent injuries even playing cup games, never mind if/when he starts stepping up for us in the Prem, even off the bench.

i get the impression every time they work him harder enough to get fit he has "niggles" hence he isn't available to play but isn't injured .

Which hasn't happened.

Alisson has commented how lfc told him.about marmalade.

Kelleher was specifically told he couldn't go despite the club being able to cash in.

I think people are generally confusing a whole tram playing well and a keeping being a legendary hero here. Kelleher is still thr same player with the same strengths and weaknesses that led to literally nobody bidding what we wanted.
