Wouldn't get rid this year just because of injury doubts over Jota and chiesa settling in. Only then 1 injury from being short up top again and having to move people around.

But next summer if Salah goes for free and we get a decent offer for Nunez then can see the club taking it and using that to reinvest in a proper right sided forward for the next 5/6 years.

Agreed selling to arsenal would be poor.

In the end the guy flies for Uruguay but he's got first to get a game here for Slot and then show something.

Jota is showing what he can do and his intelligence.

Says only after they had an injury to a play - sounds like just want him for cover so guess depends why we want for him. If actually want him to develop and come back a better player than needs to be rejected instantly

Alrhough another now saying €4m loan with option to buy for €30m plus 20% sell on and lfc buy back clause for €70m.

Hope we don’t take that. If he develops into a player worth 30m to Barca then should be in our squad.

The people.who poached these players out of other clubs will have generated a sum total of 1 first team.player (elliott) by the time hughes is done selling them all.

Personally I don't really agree with players being taken at 15 and 16 by big clubs but I also don't agree with chelsea being allowed to get to 50 players and laugh at any sort of so called rules.

Football really needs some strict tightening up.

Every country should have tjr same base squad rules.

Min 4 club trained
Min 6 association trained
Maximum 15 foreign players

Move thw overage threshold to 20 max.

Total ban on u18 transfers, youths wishing to move clubs must prove the breakdown in relations or family move and serve Min 6 months no playing to discourage abuse.

Zero scope for moving countries and being registered to pay under 18.

No club needs more than 25 senior players so total ban on registering more senior players. Maybe have some exemption for club trained players on top to promote their inclusion.

The fact is cheslea can go now and buy 10 more to get to 60 if they like this week and the fa will register every single one. Just plain wrong and now there needs to be a hard limit to stop these antics.

Do we know what the wages are? Earlier it was suggested £100kpw which is a lot to you or I, but not really a lot for a player who has been a first pick for Italian national team for years. In terms of Liverpool, £100kpw is about the median wage.

Why is it wrong for chelses to make 40 millionaires out of players who will then have no career

why is it wrong ruin any chance of progression for anyone in their academy?

Why is it wrong to open the door to other less incompetent but equally bad actors to splurge unlimited cash and buy the leagues as well.

Why is it wrong to force every other club to play catch up and keep up and splurge ever more of fans money so everyone is priced out of the game.

Gee I dunno.

Maybe cos I don't like chelsea
