firmino- an actual risk and seen as expensive back then
mane -proven in prem, seen as cheap
salah - chelsea flop who turned career around
jota - proven in prem
diaz - seen in cl
nunez - seen in cl
gakpo seen in cl.

not a big star there. not one.

when salah goes, (only a matter of time and age) we will either get a proven prem performer or someone who's proven themselves at cl and international level but it will not be a top line star other clubs are queuing up for.

even look at the summer
macallister - proven prem player, nobody else in for him.
Szoboszlai- proven in cl and internationals. nobody else after him
endo. proven internation bit a cheap back up for us. nobody in theor right mind after him.

we are tight relatively speaking and careful with who we buy.

Endo was not cheap and his contract makes him very expensive for what he is unless he can continur this form into jis mid 30's .

in todays market you can't hardly get a right shin for 17mil. what he is is minamino but at 6. he plays some games and does a job.

yeah he might not last long but the inflation is so nuts that is it much different to lambert for 4mil.

Played every game in December. He played well and even chipped in with couple goals. He’s not Fab but he’s a very useful squad player in a role where we don’t have any depth atm.

Feel he’s done more than just a job so far. Took his time to get going but been decent.

ah i thought it was a perfectly reasonable price but me and Jimmy were the 2 on here most keen on that signing and since it was one i actually got right i going to bring it up as often as possible
