Yeah I think Gravenberch was dependent on them getting a replacement. I think all parties will be a bit annoyed if it doesn't go through.
I don't think Bayern were prepared to meet Fulham's asking price, and Fulham weren't desperate to sell.
I was reading somewhere a while back that Gravenberch was 4th choice, if that's true they don't need a replacement.
Certainly doesn't seem much point in Bayern keeping him if he doesn't suit their system and wants to move somewhere to get more minutes.
As much as we all love Salah and what he has achieved, if the Saudi’s offer £200m then let him go. If he didn’t want to go that different, but it appears he would say yes if FSG accepted the offer. Not that I want him to go, but we have other priorities that are more imminent to address, namely our defensive deficiencies. We’ve had great players at this club that left and needed to be replaced, and Salah would be no different.
