Id reject it simply because they’ve had all summer to put a bid, and arrogantly waited until the last day
This ^. If they'd have sent £150m a month ago, and had the player agreed it, and had they been paying all agents' fees, and if it had been cash up front - then yes, if we had a replacement lined up. And we could have tried to hijack the Gvardiol deal too. Not now though.

You would think/hope that the club has at least drawn up a list of who to contact should the bid come in - or concluded that there's no-one suitable so will reject all offers.

Really interesting deal that. Burst onto the season and was brilliant but injuries stunted him last year or two. Brighton paying him huge wages for his time there, but far there highest earner but no loan fee so about 7m for total loan which isn’t horrendous I guess.
If it helps them get europe again then say it’s a good deal.
