In a possession based team, he will be found wanting. If he's playing for a lesser team which defends deep and just want to hoof the ball away, then he's solid at it. Not good enough for us IMO.

It reminds me of when people used to say Harry Maguire was a top class centre back when in reality, he's quite limited and only suits a team that defends in a deep block. Put him in a higher line with more space to cover and more responsibility on the ball, he's painfully average.

Brighton close to signing Fati on loan from Barca. Random transfer that one. Could be brilliant business if he gets anywhere near his potential but been destroyed by injuries last year or so.

I thought we'd go for him in January when we were desperate for midfielders and his agent was linking him to us every few days.That was at a touted £50m though. The club persistently denied any interest, and tbf some of the posters on here who watch the Italian league (I don't) said he was completely anonymous on a week-to-week basis. He's 28 next month, but still £30m is peanuts for a supposed worldie. I can't help but think that if we'd spend £20m on Endo though... :emoticon-0138-think
