This presupposes that footballers have an automatic right to the most extravagant lifestyle they can get.Not at all... The concept was that if they had enough money to earn 500k in interest a year would that be enough... I would say to maintain the lifestyle they are used to it's not nearly enough. Of course the money is out earning more money... But there is no stage of income for a footballer where earning twice as much wouldn't help them live an even more extravagant lifestyle.
Life's too short.Shame on you, you should always read back![]()
No. Didn’t even have a clue who he was and can’t see Anfield chiefs thinking 70m for him is good value either.

May as well stick a bit more to it and get Caicedo
Or go for Lavia who is much less

Roy Hodgson is looking for a pound of flesh£70m for a player that clearly didn't make that much of an impact at Palace (I'd say any player that's worth £70m would have been a huge standout at a club like Palace) Not a Chance in hell.
.Yeah, I said earlier that I don't think the players are to blame, and if anybody gets the money it should be them rather than the other bloodsuckers leeching off it.They get paid more than they should. No doubt about that. I would put the blame on the system rather than the players.
That said, I don't blame them for wanting more money even if I think it's absurdly high what the poorest of PL players gets paid. They don't deserve as much as they get, but I don't blame them having aspirations for the best life possible.
He's fed up with mice.Roy Hodgson is looking for a pound of flesh.

Actually thought they were referring to the Everton Doucoure when I first saw the rumour.

in fairness, just the poty at palace.
I can't wait for all these "little" clubs to get taken apart by Saudi.
funnily not a single newcartle player is affected.
Fulham could be relegated by the time the suaids are done
Selling ASM to them for £40m which is about £35m more than he’s worth
He apparently won their player of the year.
though Eze must have been pushing for that after his 2nd half of the season .He was very good for them last season, easily their best player

My issue is that in order to fund their extravagant lifestyle (and that of the leeches) ordinary people are being priced out of it. It's not a victimless situation, so criticism is perfectly valid, imo.
