Ex city player Kompany manager of Burnley.

Burnley offering £20m plus 20% sell of clause, plus buy back clause, plus matched offer clause to City for 19 year old keeper who was on loan in league 1 last year.

Nice of him to help them out and finance their new CB

Some people are so bitter or down the rabbit hole that sense goes out the window.
Forget Kompany and his association with City, it's the Burnley owners who are paying the money and i can't see them wanting to help the Arabs out with a few quid <doh>

Another way of looking at it is that Kompany was at the club so long he might just have good insight on this young lad and have great hopes for him so got in when the chance came up.

Unless it's for good money I'd be very disappointed.

That was kind of the point of my post mate; I'll be happy if we get big money from the Saudi league.

I'm with you in loving Thiago. However, I would also love to see the industrial midfield return and Thiago isn't that type of player. Yes, he could make an impact from the bench or in certain games but he's an asset on large wages too.

I don't think the wages matter, all good senior pros are on good wages but they are also the type of player who know how to get over the line. I think we'd be nuts to get rid with Milner gone and Hendo not capable of much.

What if selling him and freeing up those wages means we can bring another midfielder in the fits the industrial midfield approach better?

If someone comes in with a good offer then I think we’d be happy to accept if thiago wants to go.

Given his age, injury record and contract situation. But wouldn’t be actively trying to force him out.

First doesn't look much of a joke

second Bradley isn't English!

have you seen Trafford play?

He’s the second keeper they’ve signed from city now in space of 2 years.

City very very good at selling their young players. Sold 3/4 of them to Southampton for good fees with buy back prices/sell on clauses after one of their staff went to saints.

Some would say it’s a conspiracy <whistle>

And how are those players progressing now?
