Phillips was actually one and there was a couple from arsenal that didn't work out.

Suspect we're talking about different things here. I'm talking about young kids (schoolboys) that show potential but they are hard to judge because they are simply too young. I suspect you mean 16-19year old that are a bit easy to assess and with up as they're that but older.

Never got the hype about Phillips. I know Leeds fans loved him - one of their own always helps. Think was a decent player, hard to judge for England. Never really got what he offered, think he did win fair amount of duels so added bonus.

Given injuries at City would be huge risk if we were after him. He’s 27 so would be big concern that wouldn’t be able to come back and be same player

yes you did say that so fair enough but we were talking conor Bradley and we did pick him up cheap to flip the asset.

and that begs the question if we shopped in NI why dis we not see ferguson cos he was bought out of southern Ireland for nothing

We did. We made an offer for him and I think he came over to liverpool but he chose Brighton over us, probably more likely game time.

look if guardiola can get a tune out of a covid denier (walker) a drunk (grealish) and a donkey like ake but cannot get Phillips into shape then something is badly off.

if guardiola.cant get that player right why the **** would klopp?

I'd rather stick with morton and bajcetic than waste 30mil there.

Agreed, but unless Diaz's injury has a permanent effect it's not a priority. Also just a Google and it seems virtually the same Story came out in December, but with Grealish. So either just clickbait or negotiation tactic probably.

im a heretic. but id prefer Rice to Bellingham. Irrelevant asFSG wontpat iver £80m for either, but just saying
