They are apparently mates, but is that enough for him to sign for LFC. If a player, and his agent, are more concerned with being happy with a club and enjoying their football then we stand a chance. If their motive is as much money as possible then we don't.
I was a very enthusiastic footballer, absolutely talentless admittedly, but if I did have the talent, and bearing in mind what players earn these days, I would want to be happy wherever I played as the money comes rolling in anyway.

It was my understanding that it was Bellingham and Henderson who had struck up a friendship. Liking each other's Instagrams and pictured together with their England caps - I think it was the time that Trent wasn't selected. Bellingham supposedly a boyhood Red. I think it was the connection with Henderson that got the rumour mill into hyper activity in the summer. This friendship now with Trent has set it off again.
Hasn't held Milner back... Year after year "he's getting too old" and then goes out and saves our bacon in a match.
I don't see him ever being good to be regular first teamer. He looked promising that first year he broke through, but he hasn't really shown any growth.
On the other hand, we've got so many midfielders that need to be trimmed or close to retiring that we can't hope to replace everyone that needs replacing.
If my memory is correct Suarez only bit one person in the Premier League. The other two people he bit were in the Dutch league and on international duty.
So the PL is only equally as hostile as the Netherlands.

Meantime the squad postion taken up is not filled by a player who could push us on.
It's only filling a spot if we would otherwise be buying someone else. There are plenty of others filling spaces that do less.
most "squad" players are there not to push a team on but rather to not let the standard drop much .
Yes that's true but the aim should be to buy a potential first team.players and not a minamino. It's not easy but there should be at least potential for competition at some point.
Like carvalho might be someday.
