I think I have seen enough in the last few months to agree with this. He has a mistake in him and we can’t afford game changing mistakes at this level

Yeah, we never buy the hyped players that everyone is after like, Virgil and Darwin.
Personally, I haven't received my Christmas card from Klopp yet telling me everyone he plans to buy, so I can't say if Jude and Rice is on it ... Mbappe isn't... That's obvious... But Jude and Rice aren't beyond the realm of possibility. Not saying we will... Just not ruling it out either.
People said we'd never get Darwin or Virgil when everyone was bidding for them... But we did.
But harsh imo. Yes, he's made mistakes recently but so as everyone else, plus Joe's only recently returned after a long layoff.
Can he be improved on? Definitely.
Could we do worse? Definitely.
VVD is first pick. I'd say Matip & Konate are both ahead of Joe too. Show me a better fourth choice CB.

Thats a lot of home grown players just binned off. 3 of them in total, 1 being club trained.

And they're not good enough! Besides Ahmed, if he showed up, he'd be a world beater... But since he won't show up, might as well make money from him.
Rice would replace a home grown... As would Bellingham who was a Birmingham before going German.
Don't think Bellingham qualifies as home grown. Need to be trained by an English or Welsh for at least three years between the age of 16 & 21. He's currently 19 and moved to Germany in 2020.
Edit; a quick suggests... "they must have played for an FA-affiliated club for at least three years before turning 21". Bellingham was only registered for one session being moving to Germany.

Well, it would be illegal for me to import a Ford Focus, so although very improbable... The Focus would be the least likely car on that list for me to buy....

If he's using the Liverpool player database as 'the list' (as he seems to refer in that post) then a not on ther list list would actually be a lot bloody smaller. The database as almost every known player on!
