Agree with this, but would add that presumably He has the chance to make himself a long-term option if he can impress us enough while here.

He needs a deal anywhere and short term would harbour a desire to give the Brazil manager a nod thst he is back and ready (too late imo)

Next summer as a 26/27 year old he will be desperate to get his big move somewhere.

Or he really is the ****bag and will just float along and do nothing and expect a contract anyway.

Only time will tell.

Agree that it's probably too late for the World cup now.

But he's had two big moves already. I think he only gets another if he plays well enough for us to want him.

Exactly.

On the contrary its more likely we've let it be known the guy has asked for extra training and to play u21s to get fitter to counter this stupid rumour.

Its hardly hard to make that rumour up anyway given the "confusion" over options to buy or not on deadline day. Its quite easy add that to the kabak deal and think that this lad will be dispensed with at the end of his loan.

For me.... he's never a long term option as we'd have moved earlier if he was. He's the last minute cover. to play a few cup games and be an option if injuries persist.
I agree with this. He was clearly a last minute buy for cover. A cheap, easy option.

Ah, didn't recognise the nickname. A bit of jiggery pokery done with that one. According to the rules, he didn't have enough points to come to this league and then suddenly he has ....hmm
Really, you never heard Anfield sing 'Diego Costa the Elephant man'?

I don't know how they get around these things. Home Office rejects his visa application and Wolves appeal to the FA. Where's the link between those two bodies?

The pre brexit world has the uk work permit office determined to keep players out.

The new world means its a free for all to give a nod and an envelope and anyone seems to be able to get a permit as a footballer.

Somethings changed in the rules on permits for sure.
