My first reaction is, we should have purple away kits more often.

My second reaction is, he's still Ok, but getting older, I'm not an accountant, but is he going to bring a decent return from his salary.

More to do with his presence and influence on younger players than his on-field time, imo.
If Klopp thinks he's worth it I'm not going to argue.

well at the time paul scholes was kept on. he was supposedly on 80k a week played 16 league games. not even sure how many of those were as a sub

so yes scholes was supposedly one of the ****s at utd so he earned a good crust being the aged dressing room enforcer while utd won titles.
 
for some odd reason they delayed and delayed this until their final home game was done. Like as if the nobs who go to Fulham would turn round and racially abuse the lad or something?

Who knows the reasons, I'd like to think it's just the way we like to do things now in terms of signings. Keep it all in house til it can't be, much the same as klopp new deal, rumours just hours before the announcement. I like that **** tbh.

But yeh this fabio deal was less of a secret.

On their side they have been letting it out but not so who knows
