Key factor that made AC Milan target Divock Origi
AC Milan are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Liverpool striker Divock Origi on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The Daily Mail reported last night that a deal is 'close' as the striker's eight years at Anfield is set to come to an end when his contract expires in the summer.

Reports in Italy have detailed why the Serie A giants have moved for the 26-year-old over other potential targets.

Tuttosport say Origi's wealth of experience outside of Italy makes him a favourable option, having played in England, France, Germany and Belgium.

The striker also has important Champions League experience, as he played an integral part in Liverpool's triumph in Europe back in 2019, with a goal in the final against Tottenham Hotspur.

Errr the fact he is free clearly never entered their minds lol.

The fact he was awful in France and Germany also clearly doesn't worry them.. cos he is a free.

Carvalho from Fulham is wrapped up apparently. If true, we continue to pick up players before they become expensive and this model is certainly sustainable with a coach like Klopp, who clearly improves pretty much every player he coaches.

Now if only we can convince Klopps never to retire... Or at least wait until he goes senile.

if he was awful in France i'm surprised we signed him

He absolutely stunk the place out when we loaned him back for the year.

He was abysmally poor for wolfsburg and imo that's what put off several clubs bidding what we wanted for him

He's got a prem and cl medal and a league cup medal plus whatever is to come (hopefully) so we will see what he does after his time with us I suppose.

there’s always a party pooper <whistle>

Barcelona cannot sign MO Salah because of their inability to comply with La Liga financial rules.

f he goes anywhere, my guess is that it will be PSG or Newcastle. He’s entitled to do whatever he wants. He isn’t entitled to our adulation and his name being constantly sung and if it becomes clear that his motive is only money, I hope this all stops soon.

It's next summers problem. Not this seasons.

Imo the player and manager will focus on the games.

Let's achieve something real and worry about this when it's due imo

I disagree and I am pretty sure that FSG would too. Salah is a tangible asset, even with a year on his contract, he has significant value. NOW is the time you decide.

Clearly, it’s not all down to FSG but if Salah just wants money, he’ll end up at either PSG or Newcastle and we’ll end up with a wedge.
