So buy another one then cash in on both the Africans...

Think letting Salah go would be a bad statement of intent. He can still be utterly unplayable one game in five, and still knocking in plenty of goals when he's playing average. Mane has not been like that for two seasons. Bobby is turning into Dirk Kuyt, but without the goals. Sorry to be harsh, but there you go. If it's true Barca are thing £15m for him in the window (probably not) , then I'd bite their hand off if we're getting Diaz. I'd still keep Mane till the summer, especially if we're still in four competitions (albeit it nominally in the league).

pace, power, heading ability.... dribbling like a god, vision, finishing, very busy player.

He reminds me of a young zanjinho to be honest :bandit:

So the current Zanjinho...?

Hope he's got a nasty attitude as well, like Mane and Suarez. You need an edge to play in the Prem. Love players who get opposition fans and the Daily Mail fuming. :emoticon-0116-evilg

One of them going, I'd suggest. Wonder if Newcastle will pay funny money for Mane over the weekend? Rather keep him until the summer, but Origi and probably Bobby/and or/ Mane need to go in the summer. Perhaps.

booby firmino is hotel toast. he's crispy and cold and will only give us heartburn if we keep eating.

origi is like the sloppy liquid in the bottom of the scambled eggs when you've got down there too late and the decent eggs have gone.

minamino is like the continental buffet where only the morons browse. cold meats and cheese. **** off.

mane is like sausages. lovely when fresh but dried up and wrinkly when left too long.

Let me guess - you're on a residential course with work? :emoticon-0112-wonde

He never stood out to me at wolves tbh. Could just been me, but he seemed an ok prem player, didn’t seem like the star player at wolves who was too good for that level.
ah i quite rated him at Wolves but my point was more he had shown he could cope with the physical demands of PL football which some struggle with and others players just can't settle here .

True. Looking at clips of Diaz he seems to have a bit of strength to him and looks like has a bit of cockyness or something about him which usually helps.

I've just had lunch but now I'm hungry again.

Who knows how Diaz will perform for us ... but he certainly looks like an exciting player. Gives us much needed speed and directness in the attack when Mane / Salah are out.
yeah his highlights reel does show a willingness to "attack" defenders and yes no one can ever be sure how any transfer will turn out - though some have better indicators than others .

I hope he does well, but we do have a rather chequered history with buying players on the basis of how well they played against us.

Ha true.

I have full faith in our recruitment team - more often than not, they find the players who perfectly suited to us.
