Everyone knows Barca need to sell so playing hard ball I’d imagine. Plus this way coutinho gets all his wages paid to him, villa paying a % and Barca paying the rest. Doubt could get anyone to pay him what he’s on at Barca anywhere else. Plus he prob thinks he can do better than villa but happy to go there for 6 months on loan to get his name back out in hope a bigger club buy him in the summer
And Guillem Ballbag is saying Haaland could join Barca in the summer.......
villa have the option to buy so he's not in a great position in that regard.
villa are making it clear they are playing less than half his wages so thats probably 100k of his 250k wages as i'm sure villa won't want to be losing their wage structure over this.
the important aspect here is he then only have 1 year left at barca so imo he is going to want to play for brazil first and foremost at the moment he has just got back in their squad but not playing and has not played for a while for brazil.
who knows who would want him but i suppose a decent showing as a LW in a 4231 or 433 type formation at villa could have some others sniffing but he will be 30 shortly.
Buendia won't be too happy though. he is likely to have to make way.

Doesn't really make a difference. If Coutinho says he wants to go elsewhere or refuses to sign a permanent deal then it doesn't go through.
Him playing LW isn't going to help him though, he was always **** from there for us. He was better from LCM.
true but it suggests a fee is agreed at some level.
however its debatable whether he was better at LW with Mane RW etc or better at LCM. theres good and bad in all he did.

Meant to be very good in Portugal… so hard to judge.
We played against him (Porto) twice very recently
There will be highlights of those games on LFCTV and YouTube to refresh memories.
He spent most of his time in Matips back pocket iirc.
