I thought dribs was having a wind up here but then I realised..... hes mixed up Kalvin Phillips from leeds who's quoted at 60mil with nat Phillips who is well, no quoted at 60mil.

Anyway, all is well slab head is still a massive waste of money who thinks he is the mainstay of the utd defence and its leader

I assumed that was the case, though I didn't think even KP was valued that high, never mind Nat.

I really don’t see the hype with Phillips. Same as rice. Maybe it’s because don’t watch every game they play so might be similar to henderson where people who don’t watch every game realise what he actually does in the team.

but for England all they seemed to do was sit there in front of back 4. Rice never looks comfortable on the ball. Phillips looks better but other than decent passing range doesn’t seem to offer much

Maguire remenids me of Lovren a bit, in that he can look top class one week and absolutely dogshit the next.

Its great <laugh>

I used to think he looked decent at Leicester.
Banter off: Man U have a load of talented players who just can't make a team because they're essentially rudderless.
Good players will get it right sometimes but to take it that bit further and perform well consistently they need organising. There are too many big egos amongst them. Players like that need a really strong manager to control them, and Ollie - nice guy and all that - just isn't up to the task.
Banter back on: Like you say - it's great.

How the ****ing **** did MU go out and pay £80m or so for him, it's insane. We paid out for VvD but got one of the finest CB's in world football.

They are in the worst mess ive ever known in my lifetime, and i will be milking it for every drip i can get<laugh>

Maguire as captain is too funny, he couldn't organise a piss up, better off giving it to ronny tbh.

Wouldn't judge players based what they do playing for England; Southgate sucks the life out of them all with his ultra defensive approach.

Our fault, vvd was such a flawless success the benchmark was then set for top class cbs.

Everything i see about utd is like a flashback to us in the 90s, buying mistakes constantly, weak managers, disgruntled and impatient fanbase.

Enjoy it while it lasts <laugh> hopefully at least for another 25 years lets say<whistle>

Didn't think you were old enough to recall the 90's...
