However I am not crying over him going personally. Hes done a good consistent job for 5 years, vastly exceeded initial expectations but at the same time he is incredibly frustrating player to watch.

What does worry me is that he was our only midfielder who was fit and available 90% of the time.
Curtis will get more game time obviously but we still need another cm or two.
Going into the season relying on naby, ox hendo, Milner staying fit would be irresponsible. and that's being polite.
Long way to go this window and i would hope we see some ins and outs in that area of the pitch.

So in my mind we've got a returning from injury Hendo who usually picks up a knock or two anyway during a season.
A year older james Milner which makes him about fosses age now
