I did say this four weeks ago when we were talking about agents fees. Their commission isn't tax deductible to the player which is why clubs prefer to pay the agent and give the player less gross salary.

We have a fairly high wage bill too which doesn't make sense if we are paying agents more to keep wages low. I know that the publushed wage bill is for the entire staff at a club and not just the players. We do have to a lot of people employed at the club. Are they all high earners?
