Great shame. I had hopes he'd be another Sterling - he did have plenty of talent as a teenager. Goes to show that mentality is 90% of what it takes to be a prem footballer. Hope he gets another chance somewhere to pull his career out of the trash can.

If klopp loans you out, thats because you don't have a future at the club. If you're a good enough youngster you won't go out and you'll stick to the first team squad.

Ibe got shifted out fairly quickly, as has Wilson and Brewster who will follow a similar path.

Agree on Wilson but I think we will see more of Brewster

Despite reports to the contrary, Liverpool are still interested in signing Thiago Alcantara this summer but they’re only willing to pay €20m (£18.11m) for the Spaniard, according to a report from German outlet BILD.

Premier League agree new 10-week transfer window opening July 27 - the day after the season ends - paving way for clubs to net big stars in less than two weeks

Think Brewsters loan was more to do with his injury.

He was line for more 1st team action before he got injured

He’s scoring goals at Swansea which is always a good sign. With us not spending money this summer can definitely see him, Jones, Williams maybe Elliott being used more in the league as back up especially with lallana and Shaqiri leaving.

Ive watched a number of Swansea matches, he looks good, maybe more importantly he offers something we don't really have, he's predominantly an in the box striker.

If he's used to replace firmino and we expect the same, we will be sorely disappointed, but if we are happy to change to suit a predators in the box he coukd come in very useful.

Thiago Alcantara has been on the verge of signing for Liverpool for a while now.
That’s according to reports in Germany, and those in England reporting on those from Germany. Of course there’s also rumours he’s going to join Manchester United as well as other sides too because he’s out of contract in a year and so now is the moment he either renegotiates with Bayern Munich or is moved on to pastures new.

So there’s lots of speculation, and the links to Liverpool could mean nothing, but the way in which Thiago would fit into Jurgen Klopp’s team should be enough to consider the move as a genuine possibility.
