I wonder what Klopp's got in mind for Brewster. He's doing really well at Swansea. I think there's definitely an argument for having him on the bench with a view to slowly introducing him with him getting more and more minutes. Jones, Williams, Elliott and Brewster are all ready now.
Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and even Arsenal are going to be firing from all cylinders next season, we cannot afford not to be stronger if we want to retain the title. At the end of season 2017/2018 we were so many points behind Manchester City, but we were about to close it in 2018/2019, not only one team is going to be after us in the coming season, .but four or more teams.

Not sure that it's related and I haven't watched Klopp's interview but saw the headline 'Klopp wants a team of Scousers'. His ideal is that Liverpool will be a team of academy graduates, not necessarily scouse but with a 'scouse soul'. If he's looking to start that particular project then there's your answer to transfer activity.

Seems to have something about it this rumour, it was spoken about positively on the Anfield wrap a day or two back.
If he can give us three or four years high quality service, buying him is not going to be a waste of money because he is a top player.
It may not be a short term vision. Look at players like Milner and Gary Mac, not just playing well into their thirties but also leading by example and guiding the youngsters too.
I just think he's too expensive for FSG to go for it at his age
